Daniella just called. They're still waiting for an opening at NMH. Stefan is sleeping, all vitals are good. As soon as a bed for Stefan opens up, he's ready to be put in the ambulance for the transfer. And no, there won't be any sirens on his ride - his condition is stable, not life-threatening.

On September 5th, 2005, Stefan was diagnosed with AML - Acute Myeloid Leukemia, subcategory M2.
On February 7th, 2006, Stefan went home after his stem cell transplant. With a little luck and a lot of prayers, that will be his last stay at NMH.
