Daniella went home for 24 hours
I went home on Monday afternoon and returned Tuesday around 5:30 pm. I brought Stefan some potato pierogi and he ate 3 pierogi. Also ate a whole veal hot dog (parowka). As a special treat, for dessert he had some of his favorite chocolate cookie called Wedel and He also wanted to drink some of the 7-up on ice (which Diane brought in).
He is looking good today. His spirits are even better than yesterday. Last night he spiked a fever to 100.9F. As of now the nurse told me his white blood count is at .5 or meaning at 500. Still needs to go to 1000 minimum for him to go home, his platelets are at 58 and hemoglobin is at 9.8. He received his "special medicine" during the day today. This will allow him to sleep more than a few minutes thru the night, maybe even 2 hours at a time, and not going to the bathroom that often. He is napping now while I jumped out to add this little note.
